Moreen has five years’ experience in the receptionist field and holds a bachelor's degree in Leadership and Governance from Makerere University Business School, MUBS
She offers free crocheting lessons in her neighborhood whenever time and resources allow.
Apart from crochet, she loves farming, fashion, music and has so much desire to see a girl child protected.
Good governance principles tell so much about her values but God above all.

Susan is a born again Christian and owner of Shopafrocrafts.
She is passionate about being neat, creative and unique.
Susan likes learning new things and through crocheting she was able to learn how to write crochet patterns.
Her vision as a crocheter is to train young girls, women and men who would be interested to learn this crochet skill for personal growth where it can be used as a therapy to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and also for financial growth. She also likes giving a helping hand to individuals that are in need.
Previously, she worked as a Project Officer with Private Sector Foundation (PSFU) under the BUDS-ERT Project (Business Uganda Development Scheme for Energy Rural Transformation), Post Bank Uganda as a Sales Executive.
Joyce is a Community Psychologist by Profession and an artisan by Occupation;
She specializes in making crocheted bags, Sandals and Table mats, away from crocheting, Joyce is a baker.

Loyce is a dedicated and passionate director at the Crocheters' Association Ug, whose commitment to the art of crochet and positive change is truly inspiring.
She is co- founder of Ireen Samalie Dream World LTD and lead crochet trainer at The Youth Dream up Initiative.
The driving force behind Loyce’s work is her desire to see the skill of crocheting touch and change lives, particularly in the lives of the Youth and women.
She is dedicated to advancing the art of crochet, promoting the economic and social well-being of women and the Youth, and fostering a community where creativity thrives. Her exceptional vision and unwavering dedication make Loyce a true leader within the crochet community, driving positive change and touching lives through her work.
Loyce holds a Master's degree in financial management, Makerere University & a Bachelor's Degree in Business Computing, UCU Mukono.

Mariam volunteers as the co. chairperson for Crocheters’ Association Ug. Marketing and exhibition department.
She also works with Ireen Samalie Dream World Ltd and The Youth Dream up Initiative.
Mariam holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts from Makerere University, Certificate in community based sexual and reproductive health services, and a certificate in training of trainers in evidence based peer education.

Emily is a dedicated and visionary director at the Crocheters’ Association Uganda. As the founder of Crochet Savvy UG, she has a strong foundation in crochet and entrepreneurship and is committed to advancing the craft as both an art form and a vehicle for economic empowerment.
Beyond the creative industry, Emilly is a skilled Quantity Surveyor and Project Management professional with extensive experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and project execution.
Passionate about empowering women and young girls, she believes that crochet can open doors to creativity, personal development, and financial independence. As Director and PR Lead of the Crocheters’ Association Uganda, she actively cultivates relationships, amplifies the association’s message, and together as a community collaborate to create greater impact.

Oliver is a Ugandan who is passionate about giving a helping hand to individuals that are underprivileged or living in
Stressful conditions. She actualized this passion as a volunteer helping a one Miss Atuhirwe Carol who battled cancer for seven years, but unfortunately succumbed to the disease. Since then Oliver has been at the forefront of awareness, advocacy, and training
and planning programs. She is the executive Director of Carol Atuhirwe Cancer Foundation whose main aim is the global fight against cancer.
Ms. Oliver volunteers with Ireen Samalie Dream world and the youth dream up initiative to address challenges faced by the youth and also empower them through skilling particularly crocheting, loom knitting, and making reusable pads among others.
Through the Crocheters' Association Uganda she intends to help build a network of youth and women not only passionate about crocheting but also being empowered and benefiting through it.
She is an Economist, software Engineer, a Volunteer, SDGs Enthusiast and a Researcher.
Merry is a simple, focused and principled woman. She holds integrity, responsibility, faith and Teamwork as her values.
Merry believes in the power of togetherness for a group as united as the Crocheters’ Association
Uganda. She is passionate about art and creativity that results into the uniqueness of the crotchet
products we as individuals bring to the market. She has experience in crocheting and beading works.
With such power in our hands as Crocheters’ Association Uganda, She believes that the voice will be
amplified, doors opened because the Crocheters’ bring a unique touch, color and solutions to
customer needs.
She is one of the first students in the Youth Dream Up group (crocheting students) that has grown to
give birth to this baby (Crocheters’ Association Uganda). This provided the foundation on which she
stands as a director Crocheters’ Association Uganda.
Away from this, Merry is a Banker with Equity Bank in Compliance department at the moment.

Edrine is an advocate of the Courts of Judicature of Uganda, having been called to the Bar in
Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip LP) from the Law Development Centre in Uganda and a
master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Heriot Watt University-Edinburgh
Business School, in Scotland.
She is an Associate Partner at BNM Advocates and works with the firm’s Litigation
Department. Edrine is mainly involved in Real Estate Conveyancing, Corporate and
Commercial Law,Banking law and practice and Family Law Litigation and Corporate
Governance, Wealth and succession planning.She previously worked with Nsamba & Co.
Advocates, CR. Amanya Advocates and Foundation for Human Rights Initiatives.
She has vast experience in representing clients in contentious matters before various courts of
Judicature, labour tribunals, IP enforcement cases particularly in copyright a Trade Mark
Infringement. She has also handled complex litigation and regulatory enforcement of matters
with a focus on banking, land and property law, conveyance, contract law, defamation suits,
company law, white collar crimes and corporate crimes. She has significant experience
handling a wide range of high-profile litigations including company disputes, banking, family
law and employment law.
She is a member of the Uganda Law Society, East Africa Law Society, Member of the Uganda
Alumni of Tanzania Association ,The Watt Club and the International Legal Network.
Gaudensia is the Managing Partner of Birungi & Partners – CPA in charge of the
Audit and Assurance Services.
Gaudensia is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA-UK), and a member of
both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK) and the
Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). She holds a
practicing certificate of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
Gaudensia holds a Bachelor of Arts with Social sciences majoring Economics
from Makerere University - Kampala.
Gaudensia has substantial experience and expertise obtained from diverse
sectors while working with two of the top international accounting and auditing
firms in East Africa namely – PKF Uganda and BDO East Africa for a period of ten
(10) years. During this period, she acquired experience in the areas of auditing,
financial due diligence, systems review and value for money audit of Non-
Governmental Organizations, private trading & Manufacturing companies and
other various institutions.
